The vineyards of Château de Bellet, perched atop the hills of Nice, overlook the Mediterranean azure. In the background, the final foothills of the Alps and the Var Valley unfold. The vineyard is located at a high altitude and benefits from generous sunshine. The breath of sea and alpine winds provides the slow ripening process necessary for the freshness and elegance of Bellet wines, giving them an almost northern character. Poudingue: a unique soil consisting of Pliocene pebbles and very light sand crossed by clay veins.
