Verres à vin, Château de Bellet rosé

A simple look on a flower and here’s a day filled with happiness” – Céline Blondeau

After six months of breeding, the Château de Bellet Rosé 2019, 100% Braquet, is now available!

Tasting notes

A first fresh nose of very elegant wild strawberries gives way to complex notes of violets and spices.

Then, on the palate, the attack is frank and generous, with notes of red berries, raspberries and redcurrants. The finish is long and displays aromas of blood peach, almond, with a beautiful minerality.

Historic documents about viticulture always link the wines of Bellet to the native Braquet grape variety. Its name comes from an old family from Nice.

For the elaboration of Château de Bellet Rosé 2019, this grape variety is vinified by cold skin maceration, then aged on lees, partially in amphora and in stainless steel tanks for six months. This results in a colorful rosé with a beautiful range of aromas.

Food and wine pairing

Perfect as an aperitif, this rosé will delight the taster’s palate paired with a mille-feuille of asparagus and vegetables “en barigoule”, or a duo of scorpion fish fillets and red mullet en papillote. Finally, for dessert, a raspberry and wild strawberry bavarois with a mango coulis.

Serving temperature: 12°C.
